Mandala Hang Drum introduces users to a digital first-generation hang drum simulator for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch platforms. The application faithfully recreates the traditional design of the hang drum, featuring a central 'note' on the top (Ding) side surrounded by 8 additional 'tone fields.' On the simpler bottom side, a tuned note is produced when the rim is struck against a rolled hole in the center.
